FREE ADOPTION ORIENTATION CLASS!
The next meeting is September 14th, 2010.

CFA hosts an adoption orientation meeting the second Tuesday of every other month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at our Portland office. We will happily make individual appointments during business hours on an as needed basis.

During the meeting, we cover basic adoption questions, the different processes, fees, and challenges that may occur during a family's adoption experience. This class is highly recommend before a family starts the application process.

Children are one of God's greatest gifts. They make us laugh. They make us cry. They rejuvenate our spirit of fun. They rekindle our curiosity. They help us see ourselves through the mirror of love.

Sadly, through a variety of circumstances, many children never have the opportunity to experience the security and love of a permanent home. Every year thousands of infants are born into unprepared single-parent families, lacking the family balance of a mother and father. Currently in Oregon and Washington, more than 1200 children with special needs are waiting for loving parents to call their own.

Since 1958, Christian Family Adoptions (CFA) has facilitated the complex process of adoption. Through confidential counseling and detailed "home studies" CFA has successfully placed hundreds of children with caring and loving families.

Licensed in Oregon and Washington, CFA provides a variety of services ensuring that each CFA adoption is handled professionally. Through each step of the adoption process the primary purpose of CFA is to match children available for adoption with loving parents able to meet the child's developmental and emotional needs.

CFA also facilitates infant adoptions from any state. From the initial contact with the birth mother looking to place her unborn infant, to the mountain of legal paperwork, to the post-adoption counseling, CFA is committed to the well being of everyone involved.
